Carpineto 2018 Chianti Classico is great value. The wine is a modern-style, dry, medium-bodied Chianti from the Tuscany wine region, produced from 80% Sangiovese and 20% Canaiolo red wine grapes vibrant with ripe red cherry, mint, white pepper flavours. Tannins are dusty. Good now, best from 2022-2030.
