94-Point by Vinous.
Dense red black, intense to the rim, with sweet black fruit on the nose, some tar and cedar, rich and also with black fruits too – black cherry, currants – crunchy. Fresh on the palate with tarry, rich, dense creamed blackcurrant fruit, crushed and fabulously intense, rich and sweet going to a tight, linear, rich and seriously impressive finish.

Blend: 60% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Franc.
History of Château la Connivence:
The history of Château la Connivence is a story of friendship, a human adventure where oenophile friends decide to create not “a good wine” but a “very good wine”. The mythical Pomerol appellation became the cradle of this complicity which united the 3 owners: Johan Micoud, former football international, Arnaud Wiltrand and Alexandre de Malet Roquefort, owner of Château la Gaffelière, Saint-Emilion. Only 2,500 bottles come from this property. The second wine of Château la Connivence in Pomerol, La Belle Connivence comes from younger vines and was made with the help of consultant Claude Gros.
